    Omer Peled began his career as the Israeli representative and an officer of a Silicon Valley based boutique venture capital fund, San Francisco Science, which specialized in medical devices. In his position, Omer had lead responsibility for screening projects for the fund and the due diligence processes conducted by the fund. Leading a unique hands-on funding model, San Francisco Science positioned Omer as the CEO of its two major investments. In Cybro Medical, Omer managed a start-up company which developed a reflective pulse oximeter for fetus monitoring during labor and for pediatric intensive care units. Cybro also developed a non-invasive RF based cardiac output monitor. Under Omer's management, the company was acquired by Imagyn Medical Technologies. Omer served as the general manager of Imagyn's Israeli subsidiary for few years and then returned to San Francisco Science to lead the fund's second investment in Medical Dynamics. Medical Dynamics commercialized a pneumatic device for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis.

    Omer continued his VC and entrepreneurial activities by establishing a group of Angel investors and an Ultrasound technology accelerator. Under this activity, Omer led the development and commercialization of a urology holter and a platform technology for non-invasive measurement of blood constituents.

    Over the last decade, Omer has shifted his business focus toward the intellectual property arena which is the backbone of any technological company. Omer has served as an in-house IP manager at Lumenis were he gained extensive experience regarding the critical role of IP in a leading global company. In this position, Omer led all invention harvesting, patent drafting and prosecution, in and out licensing, freedom to operate analyses, IP due diligence and litigations. Together with Jason, Omer oversees Lumenis’ licensing program for the company, which will become a major revenue generator.

    At ISUS IP, Omer combines his business and entrepreneurial spirit with his global in-house IP experience. As a business man, Omer provides bottom-line business-oriented IP inputs to support decision-making process. As an IP expert, Omer builds an IP strategy to make the business model of the company sustainable.

    Omer graduated from the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology, and holds a B.A in Physics and B.Sc. in material engineering. Omer also graduated from The International Master's Program in Patent Law at the University of Haifa, an executive program at the Haifa Center for Law and Technology (HCLT) in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Worldwide Academy. Omer also graduated from the International Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Haifa University's Faculty of Management Department.
